The Grand Pace is an incredibly beautiful square reflecting the style of Gothic architecture combining with a bright and colorful blanket of flowers, which bloom in the end of summer. The buildings of guilds and the house of the king are full of open-work ornaments, which impress both from a distance and in close up. There was a time when the Grand Pale was associated with Merchant Houses, spear-runnings and adjudications, but at present it’s a place where tourist start their trip in Brussels.
