Himeji Castle is the oldest one in Japan. This is also called a Palace of the White Heron because of the white walls and accurate proportions. The main tower stands above all the others, but all of them are built in a Japanese style and seem to be flying up in the sky. The Palace of the White Heron is especially beautiful when sakura blooms as it dives into the tenderness of pink petals. The defense walls remind of the fair lady hand fan, and the interior look a lot like an opened treasure box.
